The editing explores the fragile distance between reality and fantasy through deliberate gaps between image and sound, allowing moments of dislocation to reflect the character’s unstable perception. By using sound-image mismatch and colour-grading dissonance, the film creates a subtle tension between the visible world and the inner emotional reality beneath it.
